Serious Problems with ENS

Postby Stuartr » Oct 15 03 12:51 am

With Wingate on a Win2K PC (SP3) the ENS service keeps failing.

There is an error in the Win2K event log that qbikhk2k "Driver detected an internal error in its data structure for."

Is there a fix, did try the beta of ENS that was available until recently on the Deerfield site, but ENS did not work at all.

On a win98se with 3 nic's, DSL and DLink 4 port router I have not been able to run ens at all until 5.0.8. Prior versions of ens caused the nics to stop working (indicated by device manager). With versions 5.0.8 to 5.0.10 the nics are working but I get blue screens occasionally ( didn't write down details although I did see NDIS VXD). I uninstalled ens and system appears to be stable. I do look forward to the day when ens works and I can bridge my subnets.
