Yes it will!
There are a few things to note when you run WG on a 2000 Server:
DNS: 2Kserver has a DNS server. You will need to select to use either the WinGate DNS or the Windows DNS server, not both
DHCP: 2Kserver has a DHCP server. You will need to select to use either the WinGate or the Windows DHCP server, not both
What ever you do, its best to have both DNS and DHCP run on the same system (IE use both the WinGate DNS and DHCP) as you get certain advantages such as integrated DHCP name serving.
Also, If you run a domain, you can set WinGate to use your domain accounts. See the manual for how to point Wingate to yourt Primary Domain Controller.
