Help with Wingate 3.0 Home and DSL Please!

I have Wingate 3.0 Home on Linksys phoneline card and W98SE that used to work between two computers, sharing a dialup connection. I have just connected a Westell 2200 DSL modem on a separate NIC card, and now the WinGate has stopped working. I cannot see my other computer, nor can I share the internet.
I tried to reconnect WinGate via Home Network Wizard, but the wizard said my new dsl router is an internet sharing PC and is assigning IP addresses. I tried to unistall WinGate via Add/Remove Programs, and it tells me that an uninstall log is missing. I uninstalled it with Cybermedia Uninstaller. Then I tried to reinstall it. and it tells me I must first run the uninstall before running setup. I could not find a WinGate uninstaller on the net. I also followed all the original instructions, but nothing worked.
Could you give me a walkthrough on how to fix WinGate in my situation, or at least how to unistall the program? Many Thanks. Helen

Hi Helen,

Well Wingate 3.0, that is way back, I can barely remember using that version.

Suggestion: Try the latest version [5.2.3], you'll probably get a month free trial prior to needing to buy a new licence and it may solve the problems.

Good luck.
