norton anti virus update on wingate client PC

Hi all,
I just have a small problem about norton anit virus.
We've used winage 4.XX and norton anti virus corporate edition in our office.
I've find out what non-wingate client PCs(without WGIC) are working properly but others(with WGIC) are not working as thery are getting automatic antivirus update.
any guys have same problem?

Hi there

Sometimes applications when attempting to bind to a particular port can have problems with connections when the client machine is using the WGIC.

Have you tried setting the Norton.exe/updater.exe to use local access on the Applications tab of the WGIC applet. This will force the updater to use NAT(Network Address Translation) rather then WGIC for this particular app which from your description seems to work for non-WGIC machines.

You can read further about the WGIC application mode settings to see if changing these will help, in the helpfile in the WGIC applet.
