Allow only certain sites?

Can i allow only certain sites to be accessed by certain user accounts?
i.e. not block certain sites, but allow ONLY selected sites?

We also need to block out other ports eg. ICQ etc...

Hi,

With users either assumed or authenticated...

Somewhere to start would be for WWW proxy, to add to the Policy rights which a selected specific user has, for example: http url contains .gov

If no system policy is defined set the default rights [system policies] to 'are ignored' if there is need for a system wide policy define similar to above in the system policy then select the default right to 'Must also be granted' is the simplest overall policy, but may cause other difficulties in some cases.

The same could apply to the server for services to be denied, add the url or ip address to the ban list as a starting point.

Remember that System policies will over ride service policies unless the default right is set to be ignored as above.
