Archiving Audit Logs

Postby Jim Hollis » Jun 16 04 4:53 am

I'm looking for a way to automate the process of archiving the audit logs. I would like to only keep one month of logs and archive the rest but don't want to have to manually do this every month if there is a way to automate it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could use Scheduler & Execute Command Line to run whatever software you're using to archive the files on the 1st of each month.

Now, how to select the right files to archive would be another problem all together.

I guess if you're using pkzip or the like you can specify things like that in the command line - but I'm not sure.
