Ok, just to clarify a few things.

You say that 'authentication fails'. How do you have your policies set up?! Do you have a System Policy requiring everyone to be authenticated or have you created the policy in the WRP service (which is a better way of doing this)?

I take it the PDC is pointing back out through Wingate and has the WGIC also installed on it?!

Regards
Neil

I did not see pdc as being a client WGIC not installed

winsock redirector policy everyone restricted security level /system are ignord

system policy user1,user2.user3, ect resticted security level.

looked thru todays activity noticed that many local requests are going thru the redirect , spools from any client to a phaser 860 network printer, several normal file requests to the pdc think these were only from xp os clients.and synchronization transfers of the princapals PDA to her computer this is a usb device atached to that computer os is winxp.

Printer IP static 192.168.0.215 witch is in DHCP excluded range
