What's the 'Could not lock mailbox for david' error?

Hi all:
Recently,I encounted this error.
As we known,when user recieved Email from wingate mail server,wingate will create a file named #lockfile.After the pop3 session terminated,the file will be deleted.But in my situation,the #lockfile alway here,so the error appears.

Do you have any special permissions on that directory, like ones that would stop WinGate (running in localsystem account) from deleting the file?

Thank you.This is the right answer.
the wigate folder must be set to everyone full permissions,other permissions can't work probably.
