New Wingate release?

Hi Wingate staff,

any word on the new Wingate release? What's in it? When is it coming?

The last release was in February...! I'm curious because I read several times in these forums that the next release would be just great... I guess it's giving you double the work you expected... :-)

yep, it's proving to have a few challenges that's for sure!

We released a preview in Sept to a limited group for feedback on some of the more radical design changes.

We're putting together an announcement, since we realise many customers renewed version protection to cover themselves for this release, and we will be extending that to cover the new release.

My license is for the latest version, 6.2.1, and my upgrade protection is currently expired. Will I get free access to the new Wingate, or do I have to extend my upgrade protection? Or buy a whole new license?

It would depend on your licence history.

If you've ever paid to renew your version protection, then you've paid for an upgrade as far as I'm concerned.

If you never renewed your version protection, then you would need to renew it to get the new version.
