Users and Groups not Synchronizing

I have chosen to use my users and groups from my domain controller/Active Directory. When I make this selection and click the synchronize button, only some of my users are imported. There does not seem to be any pattern to which do and do not.

I'm not able to apply permissions in the WWW proxy to the users that are not there.

Any ideas? Using Windows 2000 server

Hi there

When synching with the domain controller you will have to make sure that the Qbik WinGate engine service is running as a domain account that has domain administrator type privilages, other wise you wont see all users.(we recommend you set up an (user)account especiallly for this in the AD.

To do this:
Simply open the Services mmc on the WinGate Server machine.
Select the Qbik Wingate engine service and select the "Log on as" tab. From here select the appropriate account and you should synchronise fine.
