Nothing to Bind

Postby gabo » Oct 23 03 12:06 pm

I keep getting an error saying that no private address interfaces are bound to DHCP. To correct this I open the DHCP properties, only to find that no interfaces are listed on the "Bindings" tab.

My 2 network interfaces and the loopback are showing on the Bindings tabs of the other services.

I'm running WinGate 5.0.10 on WinXP Home.

What range are the ip's of your two nic's? Do they both have static ip's? Does this happen each time you re-start the engine?

The extrenal NIC is 10.164.56.62 it is on DHCP, but it always gets handed the same IP.

The internal NIC is 169.354.128.213

I have restarted several times, and each time I get the same.

Must be a typo.

354 is not a possible octet.

Can you renumber to 192.168.1.x subnet and try again?
