Wingate engine doesn't start anymore!! Plz HELP!!

About 1 week ago, my server running wingate 5.2.3 hanged up.
I rebooted it, but the Wingate service freeze on starting (the icons on the traybar are yellow). I try to stop the engine but nothing happens, so i killed the process "Wingate.exe". I make one more try, but the engine doesn't start again.
So i go on qbik homepage to see if there are some info, and i saw that a new version has been released (6.0.1.995). I downloaded it and installed, but the problem has not been solved.
Reading on forum i read to clear the hystory.* files... i try and everything seems to be ok... But after 2 days the engine hangs up againg... i tried to delete the hystory.* files again, but nothing. The service doesn't start anymore...

Some info on machine running Wingate:
- Windows XP Professional
- Wingate 6.0.1.995 sharing i dial-up connection (no broadband connection in this nowhere village... :.( )
- Puresight plug-in 1.1
- Antivirus plug-in 1.2.2
- MDaemon 7.1.1
- MDaemon Antivirus Plug-in

I also tried to stop MDaemon, to see if there is some port conflict, but nothing.

... there should was some conflict with puresight installation... i uninstalled/reinstalled the plug-in and everything gone right...
