Missing graphics with WebEx

Postby munrobasher » Jan 08 08 12:06 am

WinGate works flawlessly 24/7 for us except with WebEx but then again, our experiences with WebEx over the years we've used it have sometimes been bumpy!

It's not a critical problem but it's annoying and reduces people's confidence in using web conferencing.

What happens is that there are dropped graphics from the admin/set-up screens. Fortunately, the web conferencing session works fine. Sometimes it's a lot worse than the example shown. It's most likely a proxy server/WebEx problem as if we go direct to the internet, it works fine.

Any suggestions as to why this is happening? I've emailed WebEx technical support but don't hold out much hope in that avenue :-)

Thanks, Rob.

Hi

Are you using NTLM auth in the WWW proxy?

I've seen those symptoms before, we'll see if we can repro it for this site.

Cheers

Nope, we don't use authentication at all - everyone uses guest access.

Are the browsers set to use HTTP/1.1 through proxies (in the advanced config)?

It could be an issue with persistent connections, which are enabled if using HTTP/1.1 but aren't normally used (I don't think) for HTTP/1.0
