Well, WG runs on a 1Ghz with XP Home ed. 128Mo RAM that should never be
directly used...
There can be up to 3 computers connecting to the Internet through WGIC (2 have installed WGIC 6, one still uses WGIC 5)
Each of thoose have a WG account, used for email local server (not connected to Internet, nor using proxy or anything, it's a pure local thing)
As I said, everything worked well with v5, which is why we got the licence, but with v6 first thing I noticed was a little problem with the POP server, I had to set ip on port 111 so it appears as started (it wasn't even stopped before, there was just nothing), then back to port 110 and now everything works fine... don't know what that was... :/
Anyway, the big problems are, first that the FTP doesn't work no more. Can connect to the site, but when I send a file over than a few Kb, then after sending it I got an error message from my FTP client, and the file is only about 90% on the server....
Tried using an FTP proxy, so I had to add one in WG, it seems to work when I can configure it right in my FTP client (how do you do that in WS_FTP???) but not all the time... (sometimes I can't connect, or I got no answer after a LIST command....)
And all instant messengers didn't work either. So I had to add another proxy (HTTP), and now it works for all of them but MSN, which is the one I am actually using!! I always get disconnected after a few minutes, and I have no idea how to fix that!
And one really really anoying thing is the wingate engine crashing for no apparent reasons (I have to use taskmanager to kill wingate.exe and start the engine again....)) :(
Anyway, I'll install the new version and hope it will fix it all
Thanks
