Wingate 5.0.10 Issues

Been having some strange issues with the latest version of wingate. Slow connection, page timeouts and on one Windows XP user the google search buttons don't work (wierd). We are running windows 2000 server (domain Controller), mdaemon and wingate (now gone back to 5.0.7 (google works now)) using ADSL with Billion 7100 Pro.

Wingate is setup to use NAT but we have also tried Proxy which is marginally better. We are using windows 2000 dns and have disabled wingates dns. DNS seems to resolve quickly but takes ages for the page to load.

Any Ideas ? Your comments would be greatly appreciated !

We need to reboot the proxy machine at least twice a week (and sometimes twice a day..) after updating 5.0.7->5.0.10


The problem seems to be related to the dialer (ADSL).
The symptoms are loosing DNS, very slow communication, constant retiles or lost communication.

same prob here. I don't require reboot, however.
Periodically loosing DNS, very slow, refuses connections, drops sockes and other connections.

We need some info on the upcoming patch. It's past midweek as professed! I'm loosing patience with this product.
