Nothing shows in Gatekeeper

Hi!

sometimes, when starting Gatekeeper, It is says connected BUT nothing shows in the main window.

I imagine a problem like this could occur if
1. WinGate is synched with a Windows user database
2. The WinGate engine has been recently restarted
3. An account other than "Administrator" is being used to administer the WinGate engine.

WinGate doesn't store each users group membership details when synching with a Windows user database because it doesn't access the unique ID's of the users and groups. As a result, WinGate must obtain group membership information upon each start of the WinGate engine.

If you were using an account other than "Administrator" you may have logged on before WinGate had discovered that the user you are logging on as is part of administrators group, thus WinGate still let you login, but did not show the administrator tools.

What happens if you disconnect and then reconnect when this problem happens?

What are your user database synchronisations settings?

I don't use administrator.
How can I reset the administrator password?
