Limit Connection

HI,
how can I limit bytes out in wingate?
can I restrict User to download small file only?
I use wingate V 5.2.3 .

Hi there

You can set a system/service policy for "Users can access this service", and select the Advanced tab in the policy dialog. Here you can set a filter based on the amount of bytes sent/received by the client or based on the value currently set on the Audit tab in the users config in WinGate.

Trying to do exactly the same thing
But I can't make it working correctly.

Which criterion should match (or not match) ?

I have the choice between:
User: Bytes sent for client?
User: Bytes received for client?
User: Bytes sent to client?

let's say that I want people downloading max 1Mb

I should have something like:

ok, if meets: User: Bytes received for client less than 1024000

? is that right?
