user's permission

Postby xeo196 » Oct 23 04 8:27 am

I have one user that everytime that he trys this program he got the message that he doesn't have the permission. The same message he would get if he trys to access a website that I restricted.

in the message it also mention this: 127.0.0.1:9001

So we came up with a solution that he had to unhook to NW cable everytime he wants to access this program.

Is there a way for me to allow him to run this software without unhooking the NW cable?

Is there a way to enable the port 9001 on this pc only? I don't want to open the port globally.

Thanks so much for your support.

So the WinGate client is running on this machine?

sounds like the server is not allowing the application to run.

Adrien, thanks so much for helping. I don't even know if this is the client? How can I find out? If yes it is, then how can I let the server to enable it?

Thank,
