disabling wingate

how do i find and disable wingate. i am using windows xp home edition. is this file part of my router cus i cant find it anywhere on my computer?

Hi there
You can disable the Qbik WinGate engine in the services section of XP. (ComputerManagement mmc).
This way Wingate will not start up when the PC boots. This will stop WinGate from working even though you haven't uninstalled it.
