Have you trialed WinGate 6.0 before? You only get 30 days from your FIRST trial activation. If that is the case; submit a support ticket / contact Matt Parker for more information / assistance regarding this.

How far back was the date when you first activated it? One hour should not make that kind of difference. If it was, for example, last year - then the system would store the date of first activation and when you then rebooted / restarted it would think the license is deactivated. Even re-activating the license then would not make a difference (Otherwise, people could just repetitively re-activate trial licenses with different dates)

Apart from that - not 100% sure what it could be. The license activation portion of WinGate with those dates and times are very well tested and we've had thousands of people trial and use it without problems.

About the only other thing I think it could be would be a mismatch on the activation information - but that is very very very very unlikely.

Your best option would be to re-activate the license, but use e-mail; not the web interface. Then, email that activation information to Matt Parker (mattp at qbik dot com) and ask him to verify it for you. He has access to the databases and can see what the problem might be.

We'll be able to analyse that then and get back to you with more information on what caused the problem.

Matt didn't get anything from you. If you send the file we should be able to get you up and running in no time.
