How to open TCP Outgoing Port 51215

Postby khan » Nov 18 04 10:59 pm

Hi !
I am using Wingate as Proxy Server in Local Area Network. I want to send sms from web site but i get the following message.

If you are behind a firewall or within a company local area network (LAN), you will need to open outgoing TCP connections to Port 51215 on your proxy server.

Plz advise how can i open TCP outgoing Port 51215.

Regards
khan

Hi there

As per the WinGate helpfile you can open ports in the firewall under the port security tab in ENS properties of GeteKeeper.

The security filters can be set by doing the following:
On the port security tab:

1. Click the Add button.( This will bring up the Port Range Configuration Dialog)

In the Port Range Configuration:

2.Select the type of connection that will be affected by the security filter (Connections to the Internet ), and the appropriate protocol (Tcp).
3.Specify the appropriate port (port range) 51215
4. Click OK

This should do it
