I looked high and low for an e-mail on Wingate.com but found none.

My question to you is about the different versions of Wingate and if Anti-spam and antivirus and if it is included with every version?

Their licensing page lists features but not one says antivirus or anti-spam. As a new user I would only be buying the latest version of WinGate. Can anyone help me understand which does what?

WinGate does have an AntiVirus plugin and there is an AntiSpam plugin in the works right now. These are provided as extra plugins and are not included with your WinGate license. We have to do this because of the unique licensing requirements of the technologies we use.

Our AntiVirus plugin is called Kaspersky AntiVirus for WinGate and is based on the AntiVirus technology from Kaspersky Labs.

Our AntiSpam plugin will be based on Commtouch and will be released for our next major version of WinGate.
