AOL and WINGATE = Stress for me

A while back now i found out that if i installed wingate with ENS function enabled i could use it to network my PS2 with my AOL DSL connection on my pc. I installed wingate and boom it worked right away no problems, I could use AOL on my computer and wingate shared my connection with the PS2. I recently done my usual maintenace on my computer to keep it in working order, but for some reason when I reinstalled AOL and wingate, AOL can no longer dial my connection. when i remove wingate AOL works fine. Ive tried several versions of AOL and wingate but the same problem occurs. I never touched any of my settings or anything and so i have no idea what could be wrong. Any help would be much appreciated as im on the verge of pulling my hair out.
