WinGate, WinGate Router and VPN

Postby Sentinel » May 10 05 9:14 pm

Hallo again.

I have another question: if I remove the check "Support for multiple subnetworks (router)" in the General tab of Extended networking will my VPN be OK? Because the client VPN client IP is not on the same subnetwork (in fact it's dynamic). Because when I check it I "catch" other wotkgroups on the same subnet and there's an "activity", but when I remove it I can't see any routes established. So will my VPN network be still active with the ability to use DNS names, mapping, etc?
And here's my second question: when I kinda "catch" those other subnetowrks (as I mentioned above) and they browse the Internet does all the traffic passes to my Internet connection and are these other workgroups can see/use my shared resources?

Thank You in advance.

Best regards.
