Blue Screen with Wingate and MS-VPN

Postby cbaumann » May 28 05 8:52 pm

Hi,
I have the following problem:

Wingate 6.0.4 on Windows 2000 (SP4, all Patches ...).
(ENS and NAT activated, Firewall allows incoming TCP on Port 1723)

If I activate MS-VPN (for incoming connections) the following happens:
1) The VPN connection works -> good
2) A TCP connection to a service on the Wingate-machine (e.g. Telnet, http ...) works -> good
3) A TCP connection to a service on ANOTHER machine in the Intranet brings a blue screen: stop 0xD1 (DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) wanarp.sys -> BAD
4) If I activate the MS-VPN server on another machine in the intranet and set a Port redirect (TCP 1723) to this machine everything works -> ???

Is there any known issue with Wingate and MS-VPN (server) running on the SAME machine (Win 2000 SP4)?

Thanks
Chris

I sent you the updated driver - please, let me know whether it fixes this BSOD problem or not.
