ADSL and Leased Line Sharing

Postby ozpinar » Jun 14 05 9:10 pm

We have a ADSL external modem and we are planning to buy an extra Leased Linegfor connection redundancy, ADSL modem works as a DHCP and connects to server via ethernet,
I guess Leased Line will have a router which gives real IP configuration to and another ethernet card,
Now the question is it possible to use ADSL connection first but if it losts connection server automatically switch to the Leased Line,
PS : ADSL is not shown as dial up connection, just an ordinary ethernet connection with a 10.0.0. or 192.168.0. class IP
but the Leased line will have real IP

thanks all

Hi

WinGate's proxies can do this, we are working on a feature so that NAT can also do it.

Using the gateway selection features, and gateway monitoring, WinGate can monitor your gateway and if it becomes unavailable it can switch to a backup one.
