I too would like to know if this is possible.
I know 1-NIC is possible with Sygate (Home/Office Network).

I am loyal to WinGate since it has more features and easy interface.
It would be great if WinGate is actually able to this also, this is very convenient for simple 'n quick ICS.

What do you mean by this? WinGate does support multiple IPs on the same NIC, virtual IPs.

That's interesting, can you describe briefly what do you mean by having multiple IPs on the same NIC? And how to do that?

So does it mean that WinGate able to serve properly with just 1 NIC?

In Win2000 you can assign multiple IPs to the same NIC with the Advanced option in the TCP/IP properties. This can be conveniant in many situations for setting up advanced policies, or if running WInGate behind another firewall.

WinGate can't really do much for you with only one NIC tho, it has to have access to the internet with a NIC and/or Modem.
In this configuration it may be useful as an internal mail server. As long at one of its interfaceshas a rounte to the Net it will be able to deliver / receive.
