Network properties disabled

Postby MoonPhoenix » Jun 23 05 5:53 am

I installed the latest version of wingate yesterday. the NAT is working perfectly and all my machines can access the net fine.
The problem is that when I open the gateway programme (The one where you can configure things) There is nothing displayed under the system properties and all other properties windows are greyed out on the menu (eg the network properties)
It also says there are unread messages on the icon, but when I view the messages under the applet the message list is blank.
It is running on XP SP2 with the latest updates and is being used to route an AOL Broadband connection.

Thanks in advance

Hi Abigail,

It sounds like you're not logged in as Administrator, rather you're logging in as someone with user rights. What username are you using?

ok thanx, I've got it sorted now.
Next challenge is to configure the DMZ to point to my wireless router on the internal network
