Hi!
We were running Wingate on Windows 2000 Pro. A couple of days ago the system started to slow down. After resetting the equipment Wingate could no longer start, it remains in yellow, the computer slows down and won´t work properly. We had to uninstall the application, after reinstalling it kept on working for a few more days, however yesterday it started doing the same thing. The system was so slow that we decided to install in another computer and format the first one. After a couple of hours of working properly, Wingate started doing exactly the same thing on the second computer. If we check Task Manager, Wingate appears to be running and consuming more than 90% of the resources of the equipment (this happened on both cases). On both equipments we had our antivirus running, (etrust inoculate/Norton antivirus) and we aren´t detecting anything unusual. ¿any clues about what is going on?

What version of WinGate are you running?

Could you try running with your anti-virus turned off. There have been reports of real-time virus scanning causing WinGate to slow down because of a conflict attempting to write to its logs.
