Prohire Website and Wingate Proxy Server

Postby rando38 » Aug 19 05 9:03 am

Has anyone had any experience connecting to the prohire website through a wingate proxy server?

I am able to connect from the pc when I route around the wingate proxy but I receive an message from prohire stating that I have been logged out for security reasons, when I try to connect through wingate.

Anyone have any ideas? The folks a prohire seem to think it is a cookie issue but that doesn't explain why the error seems related to the route through Wingate.

If the website requires NTLM authentication then you cannot make a proxy connection because Internet Explorer won't pass NTLM auth traffic when it knows it is connecting through a proxy.

Try making a NAT connection and turning on Tranparent Proxy in the WWW proxy service (sessions menu).

You could also try setting WinGate to not cache that website.

(Windows) Start Menu --> Programs --> WinGate --> GateKeeper
