Outbound VPN connection without using NAT

- We've installed the latest version of WinGate (6.04 trial).
- We've installed the WinGate Internet client.

Is it possible to make an outbound VPN Connection (without using the NAT option) from one of the clients behind WinGate Proxy Server Internet Sharing to a VPN Server like MS Windows Server 2003, or an OpenVPN Server? Or is this only possible when using NAT?

We're using the VPN client as supplied with MS Windows 2000 / XP.
