Outlook prompting id and password screen

Hi ,

Is there anyone know why when switch to connection that go through wingate, my local outlook keep prompting me to keyin email id and password (when I send or receive ) even I have keyined valid id and password. While switch to direct connection (without go through wingate), I have not encounter this issue. Need some advices here on wingate setting.

Note : using pop3 service, client outlook => outlook express, outlook2003 & 2007

I have exactly same issues. I am using Windows XP professional and Microsoft Outlook 2007 on server and clients.

If you aren't using WinGate's mail services, it's a good idea to disable them to make sure they can't interfere with your email.

GateKeeper -> System -> SMTP Server -> General -> Change the startup type to disabled
GateKeeper -> System -> POP3 Server -> General -> Change the startup type to disabled
GateKeeper -> System -> IMAP4 Server -> General -> Change the startup type to disabled
