WWW Proxy + Webserver behind Wingate + PureSight ???

Postby sigih. » Jun 22 09 2:08 am

I have a Webserver behind Wingaste.
To use the Website I have to make an redirection in ENS and to deactivate the WWW Proxy on Port 80.
I've also installed PureSight to filter farious content on port 80.
But now Puresight isn't working ...

Is there a way th get Puresight working + Proxy is disabled ?!

I use Wingate 6.6.2 + PureSight 3.0.0 on XP prof. SP3.

Hi

You should be able to set the bindings on the WWW proxy so that it only works for your internal adapter, then it will filter your LAN users, but not the incoming HTTP requests to your web server.

PureSIght can't filter anything unless the WWW proxy is active.

You could also use the WWW proxy on a different port number and configure your clients accordingly.

Also, the WWW proxy can intercept port 80 even if it's not running on that port itself.
