Win 2000 -> 2003

Postby Marauder69FR » Sep 05 09 7:22 am

Hello

I have update my W2K server to W2K3.
Server is also a Primary Domain Controller.

Now, in system logs, i have
System boot driver failed to load : QbikHk2k

In french (because the original message is in french :) ) :
Le pilote de démarrage système ou d'amorçage suivant n'a pas pu se charger : QbikHk2k

I can't ping server from outside anymore (but mail server seems to be ok).

Any idea ?

If I uninstall wingate, will I loose all data in Wingate directory ?

Best regards,

For Windows 2003, you will need the QbikHkXP driver. To install the new, you will need to reinstall WinGate. This can be done by simply installing WinGate anew over the top of the existing installation. The registry settings and WinGate directory will remain intact, however it is still wise to backup these for best practices sake.

1. Backup the registry settings
GateKeeper --> Options menu --> Advanced --> Save Registry

2. Backup the WinGate directory by making a complete copy of it.
