Wingate crashes

Postby Bob » Nov 06 09 12:25 pm

I'm running version 3.0.5 on a Win98 computer. I know this is an old version, and an old OS, but Wingate is and has been working great for our company for years.

About 2 months ago a secure bank website tweeked their site, and now just one function on this tweeked website crashes the Wingate computer. I'm not having any problems with any of the other secure bank websites that we go to. If the user is connected directly to the broadband connection there are no problems. The problem only occurs if the user goes through the Wingate Proxy server. All company Internet traffic is currently going through Wingate without problems with the exception of this one site. What should I, or can I do to get Wingate to work with this site?

I have to admit, 3.0.5 is before my time here at Qbik (Way before), but the best place to start troubleshooting would be with a debug log of the WWW Proxy Server.
