dhcp wingate 5.0.1

hi all,

i am using wingate 5.0.1, i have a problem in dhcp service.
my dhcp service won't start.
i use static IP 20.1.1.6, but when i change into 10.1.1.6. it works.
is it possible to use static IP 20.1.1.6?

20.1.1.6 is a public IP address, rather than a private one, and by default the setting "allow allocation of public IPs" in the DHCP service is disabled. You could try enabling this option.

Are these your assigned addresses? If not, then by using them on your internal network, you make these actual internet addresses unavailable to your network (since you tell the network these addresses are local).
