Time restrictions

Postby Marauder69FR » Dec 01 09 12:06 am

hello,

I'm using wingate at home for controling children internet activity.

They are playing to an online game and I would like to restrict their fun time.

So I create Time restictions (combined with ban list) on a particular port.
The problem is that policies are only checked on the first request (when they start the game).
Once the TCP Mapping session in active, it does not terminate, even if the end time is reached... So they can still continue playing...

Is there any way to force terminating a session when particular policies are verified ?
Of course, it must only apply to children :)

Best regards.

Here are my current policies:

Policies for WWW Proxy server :
1/ Time : children group : Every day from 14:00:00 to 18:00:00
parents group : no limitation
2/ Time : Every day from 09:00:00 to 21:30:00
Ban : Any URL containg "fr.rappelz.gpotato.eu/Game/Launcher"

Policies for TCP Mapping service on port 4514 TCP :
Time : children group : every day from 14:00:00 to 18:00:00
parents group : no limitation

Hi

It is supposed to set a time to die for a session based on the time allowed in the rule, so I'll have to check up what is happening here.

Cheers
