Java Applet

Hi,

If i have Java for WWW enabled, and i close my Internet Explorer, will the java applet window close too?

Actually it will remain open. The reason this is done is so that if you have a policy requiring users to be autheniticated, then they can just keep their applet open to remain auth'd while using other programs (ftp etc) to access the internet, and not have to keep a browser window open the whole time.
