Wingate and WAMP

Postby jeds » Mar 10 10 1:43 pm

I use Wingate to share my Internet connection with 6 clients on my network.

I am trying to install WAMP on one of the clients for local purposes only (not to serve to the internet).

When I try to access localhost in WAMP I get a blank page. From what I have been able to research it is likely a conflict with port 80. Do I need to change the port that wingate uses (on my server) so that the client can use port 80?

Thanks
jeds

is your client set to use the proxy?

If so, it may be sending a request to the proxy to connect to localhost. You should enable the checkbox to bypass the proxy for local sites in your browser connection configuration.
