Allowing Access via IP Address

Postby agroda » Sep 29 12 2:38 am

I'm currently on a trial version of WinGate using Active Directory authentication. Everything is working great, although I'm curious if there is a way to allow or deny access through the proxy by IP address or subnet. In our previous proxy, we were able to allow an entire subnet to pass thru the proxy w/o authentication. I'm not seeing a way to do that, but I'm probably missing something. Thanks in advance.

Hi

if you're using Web access control rules, then just add a rule at the top which allows access for everyone to everything as long as they are in the subnet (e.g. set the where tab to specify the subnet).

Too easy! I was thinking that was specifying a destination rather than the source. Thanks for the help!
