WINGATE 7 Policy to authorize DMZ Web Server

Postby alpha13 » Nov 18 12 10:02 am

Hi

I don't see how to force authorize to webserver (intranet) in my dmz
Local users use policy to access and i want to use same login when they want use it at home.

I use DMZ with arp , is that better than reverse-proxy ?

Thx

Hi

WinGate can only force authentication for http if the traffic goes via the www proxy. If you're using a DMZ for your web server, then traffic from the LAN to DMZ can be intercepted, but not Internet to DMZ.

You may indeed therefore be better off using a reverse proxy.
