Hi

Is this WinGate VPN, or another VPN product?

VPN and NAT Problem sat downlink

Postby hqvhqv » Jun 18 07 8:10 pm

I have the same problem. When I connect the VPN, the NAT do not function.

Wingate version 6.2.1

ICS disable

Wingate NAT Enable

Interface

Public 200.164.1.100
Private 192.168.0.1
Wireless 192.168.1.2

and VPN for downlink
Name: VPN SAT

Example:

Server -> 20 clients

Win2003 Server -> Windows XP -> Other VPN clients
VPN SAT

when VPN SAT, is desconected, I obtains to connect other VPNs for the computers customers, emule, Kazaa, etc.

When I connect VPN SAT in server, do not obtain to connect others vpns for the customers, nor emule, Kazaa, etc. it does not function

traffic HTTP functions normal.

Other VPN SHOW - ERRO 800 Unable to establish VPN connection

in wingate monitor show

NAT UDP: 192.168.0.5:500 <-> 201.12.25.60:500 (Ip VPN SAT)
Ip client

when I desconect the VPN SAT, everything function normally.

in Wingate NAT log:

192.168.0.5 Guest 0000000000 Created:
192.168.0.5 lanhouse 0000002166 Requested:NAT: TCP Connection to 201.12.25.2:1723

what I make to resolve the problem?

Hi

Does the VPN connection show up as an adapter in GateKeeper on the Network panel?

Just wondering what sort of VPN connection it is - how it functions. There are several methods, virtual miniports (virtual adapter) etc. Do you see any virtual adapter associated with the VPN SAT connection?

Or does it appear as a dialup connection?

Also - does the VPN connection use the default gateway on the remote network?
