Opening ports for Citrix MetaFrame Server

I have installed Citrix client on my windows PC which access the net thro our corporate LAN via a WINGATE server.

I was asked to open ports 80, 2598 and 1494.

I have done this in the Extended Networking -> Port Security Section. I have opened ports for "..connections to wingate" and "...connections to the internet".

I have also created TCP Mapping Services for 1494 and 2598 - mapping to the external MetaFrame Server.

I have created a WWW Service on port 80.

I have run an internal port scanner to verify that the ports 80, 1494 and 2598 are indeed open.

When I connect to the external server and logon with my correct credentials I get an error back saying "Proxy connection failed. The configured proxy server refused connection to establish a connection"...

Anyone any ideas?

Any logs I could check to see what is or is not happening?

Hi

Check the WWW Proxy server log files for this one.
