uninstalling WGIC

I've tried to remove the WGIC from some PC's and it can take from 10-40 minutes to remove it. Why does it take so long to uninstall?
Most of the PC's take in the range of 40 minutes. It only takes seconds to install so I don't understand why it takes so long to uninstall.

Any advise on how to remove it faster?

Is this tied to a particular client OS? E.g. does any particular OS take any longer than any other?

We haven't seen this in the lab here. The uninstaller just uses some system API calls to remove the LSP, so it shouldn't take very long at all.

During our recent 6.2 upgrade, we noticed this behavior, too, when removing the old WGIC client from our Win2K Pro systems. Aproximately 40-50% (of approximately 100 systems) took 10 minutes or more to uninstall the client. We troubleshot/experimented but never determined the root cause...
