Logs: Computername instead of IP-address

Postby Ashotovich » Jan 11 06 3:33 am

Dear all,

Please help me to solve one problem: I have to know the network name of each computer in logs, but there is only IP-addresses there. Can Wingate also write a network computer name in log-file?

Thanks in advance.

We only show the IP address, not the machine name.

As an alternative option you could create user assumptions based on IP address, then you'd also see the username (and therefore you'd know which machine it was) in the log files.

How would you create user assumptions based on IP address?

Thank you.
