Wingate record LAN activity for PC running Windows XP

I wonder why Wingate will record all activity (included LAN activity) for PC running Windows XP. When the user access to network drive or printing to the network printer, the user will experience PC slow in open or saved file in network drive. This happen before and our vendor manage to solved it with a simple configuration, but unfortunetly he cannot recall what is the configuration. Anyoene can assist me on this?? Please!!
