You can use NAT with Gmail - it works just fine.

I got the same challenge. As security and company policy, we aren't able to let user use NAT services to access the Internet. So, there is no way to check gmail through proxy by using email client, isn't there?

Hi

You could set the NAT policies to only allow access to destination port 995, so it can only be used for SPOP.

Otherwise, the only way would be to get WinGate's POP3 client to retrieve the mail from GMail, deliver it to a local WinGate mailbox, and the client download it from WinGate's POP3 or IMAP server.
