WIGIC and Wingate

Postby GSFernando » Feb 24 06 4:57 am

Hi there everyone,

Let me explain the situation first.... We have been using Wingate for couple of months now and have decided to get more control by using WGIC on the client machines. However when we tried testing WGIC the Wingate Gatekeeper locks the WGIC client on the screen and shows all his processes. This is not a bad thing if we had 100+ licenses, but we only have 12. So I was wandering if anybody knew if it locks up the first 12 users who gets into Wingate gatekeeper.

Is thier any way to drop the WGIC clients when they are not in use. During testing we had a PC with WGIC installed for few couple of hours without any Internet activity. But Gatekeeper still didnt drop the user.

Please let me know how to drop WGIC users after a certain inactive time. I hope their is a solution because after all the licenses state that they are concurrent.

Wingate version: 6.1.0

Any help will be appreciated !!!

Thanks

When you said that Gatekeeper did not drop the user - did you see any applications running with WGIC in Gatekeeper?
