Gatekeeper & Remote Admin

Remote acces to Wingate through Gatekeeper will not allow access to the History folder, all other information is acccesseable. Any ideas?

To view the History Log when running GateKeeper remotely:

1. Map a drive to the WinGate folder on the WG server.

2. Run Gatekeeper.exe from the mapped drive.

We do this here as well, it also has the added benefit of giving you access to the plugin configuration as well.

However, having said that, we are working on what we consider a better alternative, since running off a remote drive loses the synchronisation objects that GateKeeper normally uses to synchronise access to the History with the WinGate Engine.

I did map a drive to the Wingate folder on the WG server and ran Gatekeeper.exe from the mapped drive but came up with the same error message i.e. Wingate Authentication Dialog Box : ACCESS DENIED.

Tried to log on both as a User (with unrestricted rights) AND as the Administrator but no luck. We are able to see the activity on the 'Activity' and 'Firewall' tabs.
