RE : How to block PPstream & PPS.TV

Hi,
My Company recently change to Wingate 8 & I discovered that there are some users who are viewing online movie. Even I already set/block these websites under Manual classifier but they are still able to view ppstream movie. Anyone could provide your ideas on this issue ?

Hi

do you have access to the Web usage logging (requires Pro or Enterprise license). If so, you can enable logging of the classification, classification source, rule result and rule name. This will tell you how users are being allowed or denied access to sites etc.

The Manual Classifier only supports a single result category, so if there are several manual classifier rules, and several may apply or match the same request, then only the first matching rule will result in a classification. So it may not always be clear which category a URL will be, and if one is allowed and one not, you can find requests allowed which you expected to be denied and vice versa.
